Product Description: Kindel Furniture - 88-017 - Saratoga Round Table - Dorothy Draper was fond of sculptural details. This Cherry table features a base of scrolls and sweeps to catch the eye and draw attention. The top features a black inlay line and Cherry border. Cove shaped detail on the leg can be accented with gilt leaf or contrasting paint color.

Her work on behalf of such institutions as New York's Hampshire House, The Carlyle, San Francisco's Mark Hopkins Hotel, Hollywood's Arrowhead Springs Hotel and West Virginia's Greenbrier Hotel exemplified her as a pioneering businesswoman and the most famous decorator of the 1930s and 40s. She invented Modern Baroque with oversize plaster work and dramatic use of vibrant color.
