Product Description: Kindel Furniture - 88-015 - Mark Double Pedestal Table - Inspired by Dorothy Draper’s lamp table designed for the lobby of the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco, the Double Pedestal Dining Table features the same sweeping pedestals and angular apron rails. Two 22” (56 cm) leaves with aprons are standard. This table is also available as a single pedestal, round table, 88-012; 88-013 and 88-014.

Her work on behalf of such institutions as New York's Hampshire House, The Carlyle, San Francisco's Mark Hopkins Hotel, Hollywood's Arrowhead Springs Hotel and West Virginia's Greenbrier Hotel exemplified her as a pioneering businesswoman and the most famous decorator of the 1930s and 40s. She invented Modern Baroque with oversize plaster work and dramatic use of vibrant color.
