Product Description: Kindel Furniture - 83-816 - Massachusetts Kettle Stand - The original of this dainty kettle stand was made in Massachusetts around 1800. Kindel’s reproduction features hand inlays with contrasting patterns on the top and leg surfaces. The fine inlay lines of this table are exquisite and refined. A small sliding tray on the apron is designed to provide a rest for a teacup while water is poured from an urn.

Graduate programs and a preeminent research library make Winterthur an important center for the study of American art and culture.In 1983 Kindel was awarded a license to reproduce important examples of furniture from du Pont's collection. Kindel sought to recreate the best of kind examples due to their complexity, authenticity and craftsmanship. Through the demands of scholars and conservators at Winterthur, Kindel developed the highest standards of execution in the furniture industry. Standards of excellence gained through our experience with Winterthur set the course for how we build furniture today.
