Fresh from the manufacturer showrooms at High Point North Carolina's Fall 2023 Furniture Market, here are the latest color trends in home furnishings. Subtle colors have made a comeback - sophisticated pastel settings were very popular and included traditional touches such as tailored skirts and bullion fringe. Ice blue was all the rage and paired fabulously with a wide range of colors. We spotted bedroom settings in calming blues, creams and whites while living and dining settings featured the same blue tones with much bolder pinks, oranges, yellows and greens. Nature inspired colors are just as popular as ever, especially in yellow ochre coverings with sage green accents. A new addition to these natural color stories is warm textured brown which has replaced black as the preferred neutral color. Coffee and cream woven layers and prints added depth and diversity to many a showroom setting. Another hot color that made the rounds in High Point was brick red. A trendy color in clothes fashion right now, it has made its way into home furnishings color stories as well. And lastly, bold blue continues to stay very strong in living room settings. We saw it featured again with contrasting oranges but now it's also being shown with complementary kelly green.
