Inspired by an ancient piece in the Musee Guimet in Paris, it depicts the head of a Bodhisattva from India, characteristic of the Kushan Period in the 1st and 2nd centuries. The design captures the serene expression and historic detail of the original, while presenting it as a refined decorative accent. Because it is made of a natural material, the surfaces of the stone may vary slightly from piece to piece.
