FRAMES: Our frames are engineered not to warp, twist or split. We use solid kiln-dried hardwoods, and wood laminates, and we back it with a limited lifetime warranty. Joints are held solid with mortise and tenon or double-dowel and corner-block construction.
SPRINGS: Our heavy gauge steel spring system provides the base for a wonderfully comfortable and long-lasting seat. Springs are placed to provide for uniform, supported comfort and doubled up on each end to withstand the wear and tear that comes from everyday use.
CUSHIONS: Since this is mostly a matter of personal taste, we offer several cushion options. All feature a high resiliency foam core. The Susan cushion is our firmest. The Lisa, with its feather, down and regenerated polyester fiber blend, is "in the middle". And the Katie, with its very dense blend of only feather & down is, well... out of this world.
